Overall, a great stay! We loved the fire pit and it's very quiet. Property was clean and no issues with check-in. Master bed was comfy, others were a little hard/old. Water pressure in the shower was really weak. We still really enjoyed the stay!

We had a wonderful time at Southern Comfort. It was a beautiful cabin that was so clean with everything we could possibly need. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful getaway!
This cabin is in a beautiful setting, private, quiet, with natural beauty, and stars at night were outstanding. This was a 3-day retreat for our nonprofit, time to relax and plan for next year's activities. The cabin was beautiful, very comfortable, everything we needed. We are planning on returning next year.

Perfect Private Getaway
We had a girls weekend and decided this was the perfect cabin for us. The interior was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the mowed path to the pond. The hot tub was nice after hiking. The kitchen was well equipped and we would absolutely stay again.

This cabin had an insane amount of stink bugs when we stayed. The cable wasn’t working. Reached out to property manager who said it should be working and reset the box. Very helpful. Why didn’t we think of that? BUT… most importantly… the day of departure it’s asked that you remove all bedding. When we did we found bed bugs. We have thrown away hundreds of dollars in belongings. When we reached out to manager to let her know she said she was sending an inspector. I mean that’s great for after the fact, but no offer to refund our bed bug stay or even an apology. Total nightmare for our family. Would not recommend this place.

Cabin and yard were very nice and very clean. Bad things were that there was very little or no hot water in the showers, downstair shower door off the track making it dangerous, back door almost impossible to lock, bedroom doors very hard to close. Other than that it was a very nice cabin.

Family getaway
Overall our family had a great stay near Hocking Hills. The kids loved staying in a cabin for their first time! Only thing missing for me was a dishwasher which is personal preference. ;) It was quiet and we loved the front porch swing. Overall plenty of space for our family of six!!

Great secluded cabin
This cabin has everything needed for a great stay. Very secluded and quiet. We were very comfortable with five in our party. Easy driving distance to Hocking Valley attractions. Highly recommended. We would book again if in the area.

Private, quiet, well equipped cabin. The property was clean and comfortable. We were cold as the thermostat was set at 70 and it was not apparent how to adjust it! Back door lock was also a challenge, perhaps a small "how to" paper? We would recommend a stay here

This cabin was so beautiful, cozy & serene. We enjoyed the porch, pool table, corn hole and all this cabin had to offer. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Lovely place surrounded by nature.

Perfect for family and friends
10 out of 10 would book again …. We stayed for three nights with three adult ladies (ages 40s-80) and three teenage boys 14 to 16. Excellent homebase location for jaunting out and about around Hocking Hills. I gotta say, the curvy, winding hilly roads in the last 6 miles leading up to the cabin were so gorgeously scenic. I was in awe! The cabin itself is solidly built with lovely knotty pine. The place seems bigger once you’re inside with the high ceiling, three bedrooms on the main level and upstairs (each with their own bathroom). The most comfortable plushy beds and the ceiling fans and AC made for easy sleeping. And a basement with a pool table, foosball and air hockey there’s plenty of space to spread out and do your own thing… FYI: We did find the back and the side door locks a bit tricky to lock. Just lift up on the L-shaped handle and that allows you to deadbolt the doors. The wraparound deck is a wonderful space within itself offering shady seating areas & hot tub. Hitting the hot tub at dusk was the best especially after hiking all day. You get to kick back in restorative comfort, the view of the stars were brilliant, the fireflies mesmerizing and I loved watching the occasional bat Hoovering up the mosquitoes (they don’t bother you) and just when you thought things could not get any better, you’re treated to the most lovely chorus of frogs making their froggy sounds from the pond outback Beyond the cozy fire pit. Will definitely be returning

Hocking hills hiking trip
We loved the cabin! The grounds are lovely and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the coveted porch and watching a storm and listening to the birds. My kids loved picking fresh blackberries along the property trail. There is a hidden gem of a vineyard less than 2 miles away. The hot tub was great. We would definitely stay here again.

The House was perfect. We stayed tsp we could go to the Hills. Perfect location. Loved coming back to house and enjoyed the hot tub.
