Cabin with creek get-away
Posted May 16, 2024 on HomeAwayIf you want to get away from a busy life, this cabin offers that. On the plus, it has internet and we didn't have much of a problem with Verizon Wireless with our phones. Be sure to bring your groceries; you can find milk and bread nearby. Creek can be fun for ages 8 and up. Fished a little without luck, but we're novices.

Second visit just as great as the first!
Posted Apr. 28, 2024 on HomeAwayLovely place, very comfortable and romantic. This was our second time there and it was just as great as we remembered. Amazing shower in the master bedroom, too. Great porch to sit on and enjoy the views of the creek.

Perfectly Off the Grid
Posted Apr. 22, 2024 on HomeAwayJust what we needed! The cabin was lovely and the location couldn't have been better. We enjoyed the sounds of the river and walking along the mostly cleared path that skirt the river front. The fire pit was fabulous. We brought our own hammock to enjoy afternoon naps. It was a great off the grid stay.

Our favorite place
Posted Nov. 15, 2023 on HomeAwayWe have stayed at Clearwater Cabin previously and loved it so much we came back for our anniversary. We'll be back again. We enjoy quiet restful vacations which is exactly what we got. There is literally nothing to do in McDowell, but that's everything we wanted. Sitting on the deck by the stream drinking tea and reading was as perfect as it gets. The house is the perfect combination of very rustic but with modern conveniences! I hesitate to tell how much we love this house because then others will rent it out from under us!!!
