cousins get together in Massanutten
Publié le 20 août 2024 sur HomeAwaythis home is as lovely as pictured...even more so. Spacious, nicely decorated, clean with ample room for 8-10 guests as listed. The home is tucked away in one of the secluded neighborhoods of Massanutten resort which offers many amenities. I would recommend reviewing their website prior to your visit.
We spent a lot of time hanging out in the screened in porch, enjoying conversation & coffee. However, there is a large game room too! We prepared several meals in the beautiful, well stocked kitchen.
There are so many fun things to do in this area. It was centrally located for all of us coming from MD & PA! The mountain views are awesome! Be sure to drive up to the summit! So many wonderful wineries, breweries & restaurants with in a short drive. Harrisonburg VA & JMU are nearby. it is a vibrant, interesting small city.
Our host was quick to respond to questions about the resort prior to booking but brief. he did not respond to small list of incidentals that i wanted him to be aware of. (ie: broken shelf in closet, not enough hand towels, wash clothes) nothing major.
The only downside was that you had to put your trash in your car & drive it to a designated dumpster area. Suggestion...Please provide heavy duty trash bags.
Everyone agreed that the home was perfect & we would definitely return & recommend to family & friends. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The home had plenty of kitchen utensil, pots,and even a waffle makee which the kids enjoyed. Publié le 1 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayEnjoyed the stay. Very convenient with Massanutten and near JMU. Some nice sight seeing. The property is well maintained and very quick response time by the manager. They are strict on checkout times. I got a message 15 min before checkout warning me that the housekeeper was waiting on us and that I had 15 min. This was after a snafu at checkin where, even though we were an hour late for checkin, the property wasn’t quite ready. Not a big deal, especially since we booked the day before. Loved some of the extras like a guitar and pool table. Would definitely recommend!

SKI TRIP
Publié le 6 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall the stay with this property was good. The home is beautiful and in great location distance wise from food, skiing, and places outside the resort. The home is beautiful in the pictures and in person.
Parking was great as well. We had 4 cars so two in the garage and the other two in the driveway. We didn’t run into any problem with neighbors.
The only minor things were the microwave didn’t work during our stay, fridge wasn’t cleaned thoroughly, and the bathroom shower curtains were dirty.
