Very clean - good for families
Publié le 5 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time here. Master bedroom is great and has a good mattress. Back deck is peaceful. Several Roku TVs around the house. And various games for the kids were found in the loft which was a nice touch.

Fun and Cozy Getaway

The kids loved the variety of games available, keeping them entertained. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend it for families looking for a cozy and fun getaway.

Great spot for Grad trip!
Publié le 22 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family and I stayed at The Gingerbread House for my brothers graduation from JMU. House is exactly as pictured and described. It’s a perfect and cozy home for family. There were two living areas we could spread out and a perfect little dining room for family meals. The hosts had these cute little bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash set up and plenty of linens. Really lovely stay.

Publié le 30 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay at the Gingerbread House! The kids especially loved hanging out in the loft area. We played board games and enjoyed each others company. We visited Luray Caverns and hiked in Shenandoah. Great time Overall!

Excellent vacation
Publié le 2 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay at the gingerbread House. All the cute little features of the house, it really lives up to its name! We found the house to be extremely well stocked, plenty of extra towels, sheets, and blankets and pillows. The kitchen was in great working order as well—there were knives that actually cut! (Often a problem at vacation homes 😂). Two small things that I shared with the owners during our stay, one of the kitchen cupboards came off the hinges, and a couple of the lights did not have lightbulbs in them. However, this in no way diminished our stay. kids really enjoyed the video games, The chalkboard, and the other games that were provided. One suggestion would be to have an outdoor seating area for meals. Thank you so much, really enjoyedm this day and would stay again with pleasure.
