Exceptional Lake Home located on Big Sandy Lake in McGregor, Minnesota with the perfect Sandy Beach. Dock use is allowed. Bring your own boat and fish or play.

Fully furnished home with gourmet kitchen! Built for year round enjoyment of beautiful Big Sandy Lake during the summer and local 4 wheeler and snowmobile trails for winter fun. Located one hour from Duluth Ski resort. Home includes Wi Fi and Direct TV service, BBQ Grill and washer and dryer for your use.

You will not find a nicer cabin or a better spot on the lake. We prefer weekly rentals.

The perfect log cabin!!
We loved the cabin! We stayed 4 nights and it was so comfortable. Our son got married at the Larson Barn, which was close by. The cabin is easy to get to. The lake was great, things to do for everyone - kayaks, paddle board, and some great fishing off of the dock. My sons and grandchildren caught some walleyes, sunnies and bass. The cabin is so open and roomy. Bedrooms are great. Nice to have a washer and dryer to use too and so nice to have towels and just about whatever you need. Great to have extra refrigerator space in the garage as well. Benton is very accommodating and helpful too. There are a lot of steps down to the lake which didn’t stop the younger people, my husband and I used walking sticks but it didn’t stop any of us. The view is breathtaking and the cabin is just gorgeous! We will definitely be back!

Family Time
This home is beautiful. Great location, easy to get to. lots of extras for you. Host was amazing in talking to and helping you get set up. a lot of stairs though to the lake. if you have a hard time walking bring some trekking poles to get up and down as no railing but don't let it detour you from renting.

Large comfortable cabin
This is a beautiful, well kept cabin on Big Sandy Lake. It was well stocked with food and anything else we might need. There are lots of options for recreation in the vicinity. We did a couple of hikes at Savanna Portage State Park a short drive up the road.

Great getaway
My sister, Mom and I met here for a weekend getaway of sewing and cooking during the end of Fall in October, as Winter weather was just beginning to start to show. The house was amazing and positioned beautifully on the lake. 3 bedrooms provided more than ample space for each of us to have separate rooms, with the master suite on the main floor being great for my aging mother. Layout of the home lended itself flawlessly to group engagement, conversation and overall good time. The upper bedrooms and loft space have additional beds which would support each of us sisters bringing our entire families in the future. Beds were super comfortable and bedding provided the warmth needed on the cold late October nights. Very quiet home, noise did not travel throughout and allowed for quiet nights of sleep for all. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!

Relaxing, beautiful and comfortable.
We came for a “familymoon” after our daughter and son in law were married to enjoy time with extended family before they had to return home. It is a cozy welcoming place, with a well stocked kitchen and beautiful view of the lake. We rented a pontoon boat and we’re able to use the dock, was a Great Lake to boat on and enjoy time together. We would definitely stay again! Thank you Benton!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The swim area was great the kids loved jumping off the end of the dock. Having the kayaks was nice. Good quality dock we brought our boat and it worked well. We enjoyed the open space of the house. Nice furniture and kitchen. The deck is big with plenty of seating and a commanding view of the lake. Easy access with a side by side or wheeler if you don’t want to take the stairs. We will stay again.

Absolutely gorgeous property on probably one of the best spots on the lake. This end of the bay was sheltered from weather that impacted the rest of the lake which allowed us to enjoy activities on the water right off the dock that would have been diminished in other areas. Benton made check in very easy, checked in by phone during our stay, and was very responsive and helpful to inquiries. Check Aitkins Resort for boat rentals- Jess was very friendly and fair, and our pontoon was excellent.

Beautiful Property
I stayed here with a group of girlfriends and we had a great weekend! The cabin is beautiful with plenty of room to hang out and sleep. The kitchen space is large and had everything we needed for making meals. The deck was huge with lots of chairs and space to relax. We loved the sandy beach area and entry to the water was great for swimming and floating. The area itself is close to several bars and restaurants, plenty of options. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and we loved our stay!! Great cabin for a group or families!

Fourth of July Fun
The photos don’t do this property justice, it exceeded any and all expectations. There is a full sand beach in the best bay on the lake. The views are impeccable. The home is spacious, comfortable and has everything needed for hosting and cooking and lounging on a rainy day and at night time. I will be staying at this cabin again! The hosts were also very accommodating and communication was 10/10.

What a find! It is obvious this cabin has been taken care of. We grilled out on the huge deck, had bon fires near the beach and fished and relaxed on the dock, which had 4 chairs and tables. We caught more walleye from the dock than anywhere on the lake. All appliances seemed new and worked great. The rooms we spacious and clean. You will find yourself 5min from Big Sandy Lodge and 7 minutes from Minnesota National golf course which we golfed multiple times. We are definitely coming back to this cabin.

This is a premium cabin on a premium lake. Lots of stuff to do. I was very satisfied with our decision to rent this cabin. Owner answered all of my calls/emails and was very easy to work with.. Property desciption is accurate. There were no surprises upon arrival. Large cabin,large deck,plenty of dock space, and a sandy beach. There are a lot of steps to the lake. But, that wasn;t a issue for my family.

We really enjoyed our time at this cabin! Clean lake, huge dock, sandy beach and large deck to enjoy the outdoors with friends. Kayaks also were available to use. Owner was very accommodating as well!
