Publié le 28 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was a perfect little getaway for my husband and I of 15 years. We left the kids with family for the weekend and took some time for us. It was everything as pictured cozy, quiet, and relaxing. Which is what we needed to reconnect as husband and wife.

End of Summer Stay
Publié le 15 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayFor context to my review, my Dad and I stayed 5 nights/4 days and we were here to enjoy the last part of summer horseback riding, jet skiing on the lake, and hiking. If you like peace and quiet (outside of slight noise from Garrett Highway) and want to spend your time outdoors, this is your place. Very nice covered front porch and expansive fire pit area. The property was well-maintained inside and outside and the Vrbo listing was as advertised.

Cozy cottage weekend

The propane for the grill was empty. Called and let someone know. Propane was promised but never delivered. No biggie, to us!

Cozy Cabin
Publié le 13 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The wifi worked most of the time, but there were times it went out. The location was perfect. The cabin has a nice wood stove. The check-in and check-out process was the easiest I have ever seen. Deep Creek Lake is a beautiful escape for relaxation and peace. We recommend going to Swallow Falls to see the waterfalls.
