The accommodations were perfect for the weekend this family of three needed! The hot tub was perfection! Thank you so much, we look forward to staying again soon!

The cabin was super clean, cozy, well equipped and we appreciated the extra amenities. David and Pearle were great hosts.
Our two young sons had a great time and loved the toys, games, play area and endless DVD collection.
Although it was cold and snowy, so didn’t venture too far, we were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the hot tub!

Absolutely cozy and amazing!

Our 4 year old son loved his time as well, plenty of games and toys for kids of all ages provided as well as family style activities and indoor entertainment. Will definitely stay again!

Even better than expected!
Publié le 27 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayI've stayed in quite a few rentals and this was by far the best. Exactly what you would want for a mountain getaway in the winter. We were were lucky enough to have stayed during a snow storm - which made this place look and feel like the location of one of my wife's Christmas hallmark movies. Owls Nest had every imaginable amenity, incredibly clean, well kept and the location was quiet and private. Quaint but plenty of room for both of us and our two young daughters. About a 15 minute drive into town and all the typical activities in DCL. Hosts were easy to reach and very pleasant.
We will absolutely be returning in the summer to enjoy the outdoor/lake activities.

Perfect relaxation and peace at the Owls Nest!

The hosts truly thought of every need you might have, and they were very communicative and informative about the property and surrounding areas. The cabin and hot tub / grounds are immaculately maintained and kept. We barely needed to leave once but did go to enjoy a morning hike at Swallow Falls. We highly recommend this property and will hopefully be back soon!

Publié le 7 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwaySuper clean! The hot tub was great. Well stocked kitchen. The owners had lots of extras to make our stay special, travel size soaps and lotions, a gift bag if goodies. We were there for two nights and I definitely would've liked to stay longer.
