Will never stay here again
Our stay was unfortunately marred by several issues, primarily related to the owner's behavior and the property's condition. From the outset, we felt unwelcome and surveilled, with undisclosed cameras, contrary to Stayz's terms and conditions. Additionally, the owner was constantly watching and checking up on us, making us feel like we were being chaperoned. The owner's early morning disturbances, such as pool cleaning and lawn mowing, were disruptive and inconsiderate. We were even woken up by the owner knocking on our door mid-stay to demand we move our car for lawn mowing, only for her to delay the task until we were outside enjoying the day, exposing us to excessive dust.
We were happy to pay the fee for the additional guests that we mentioned might be coming, but one of them didn't end up staying and the other one didn't stay the second night due to being made to feel uncomfortable by the owner. The day after our stay, the owner sent a passive-aggressive message expressing disappointment that we hadn't paid the additional fee. However, if she had simply asked or spoken to us kindly, she would have learned that the additional guests didn't even end up staying.
The property itself was adequate, though it didn't quite match the outdated photos. The showers lacked adequate water pressure, making for an unpleasant experience. The pool was unclean, requiring us to clean the filter ourselves.
