Will never stay here again
Publié le 27 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur stay was unfortunately marred by several issues, primarily related to the owner's behavior and the property's condition. From the outset, we felt unwelcome and surveilled, with undisclosed cameras, contrary to Stayz's terms and conditions. Additionally, the owner was constantly watching and checking up on us, making us feel like we were being chaperoned. The owner's early morning disturbances, such as pool cleaning and lawn mowing, were disruptive and inconsiderate. We were even woken up by the owner knocking on our door mid-stay to demand we move our car for lawn mowing, only for her to delay the task until we were outside enjoying the day, exposing us to excessive dust.
We were happy to pay the fee for the additional guests that we mentioned might be coming, but one of them didn't end up staying and the other one didn't stay the second night due to being made to feel uncomfortable by the owner. The day after our stay, the owner sent a passive-aggressive message expressing disappointment that we hadn't paid the additional fee. However, if she had simply asked or spoken to us kindly, she would have learned that the additional guests didn't even end up staying.
The property itself was adequate, though it didn't quite match the outdated photos. The showers lacked adequate water pressure, making for an unpleasant experience. The pool was unclean, requiring us to clean the filter ourselves.
We strongly believe that a vacation rental should provide a relaxing and enjoyable

Relaxing stay

A 15-minute drive to all the shops and tourist attractions in Bundaberg.
The host was very responsive, and the caretaker was very friendly and helpful as well.

Very Good Farm house to visit !
Publié le 6 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayGeoff is a kind man who is keen to show us around. He even voluntarily conducted a great & wonderful “pet snake” show to the kids. We just needed to remind our kids that wild snakes could be dangerous.
Elli is a nice and helpful person. She showed us around the house and also told us everything we needed to know about it.
Cleanness: the house is generally clean and well maintained (90% good), toilets are very clean. The beds are really comfy to sleep in and are well prepared. Multimedia Room : This is a real plus (with working Netflix & YouTube ):some working tips are to choose “Game” as input source in the Denon AV system. Another tip is to always choose hdmi 2 in the screen projector. The huge screen projector is a real highlight.
There are loads of animals that are sure to interest the kids! Cows, Chickens & Honey Bees around. However better have insects repellent first before going around. We will be even happier if less insects (like mosquitoes)are trying to go inside the house. Lastly, during hot summer times, the 3-beds bedroom could be quite hot because it is the only room without air-conditioner. The other 3 rooms have very good air-conditions running well. Overall a comfortable farmhouse to stay.

There is nothing we can do about mosquitoes I’m afraid, and as for cleaning, we do ask ALL our guests to let us know of ANY issues as soon as they are noticed do that we have the opportunity to fix any issues immediately.
Please DO NOT play with home theatre controls as the controls we use have been aet up by professionals
We say in our description that there is no air conditioning in the 4th bedroom, and it is close to impossible to install

Geoff&Elle are the perfect hosts and were excellent with our little kids…Excellent base for travelling around, breathtaking.So peaceful and calm. Thank you both so very much for making our holiday so very special.Beautiful animals n bees.kids enjoyed the big yards n lovely pool.
