The house was really clean. I however felt like Goldilocks looking for a comfortable bed. Out of all 4 beds they were all super hard and uncomfortable. The video game was only 3 feet tall. Very uncomfortable to play for us adults. The neighborhood was not what we were expecting. The place next door looked sketchy. There is nothing around except a couple little restaurants. We booked it for 2 days and ended up only staying one night. We didn't have a good experience unfortunately.
The home only has two electric space heaters. That doesnât keep the house warm, the heater has timers on them. I had to lay clothes along the bottom of a couple of doors to minimize the cold air coming in.
The breakers pop of if you have to many things plugged in. The breaker box is exposed and could cause body injury or start a fire.
Overall, the place was clean but there were some MAJOR problems. When we first arrived, the inside temperature read 62 degrees. We tried to use different settings on the thermostat but nothing worked. When we contacted the host, we were told it did not have central heating and had to utilize small space heaters to heat the areas but there was only two of them and it did not heat the house. If you were in your bedroom sleeping and had to use the bathroom it was freezing when you took a shower, not comfortable at all. When you used the portable heaters you couldn't regulate the heat, if you used them in the bedroom it would get so hot you would need to get back up turn it off and then turn it back on again when it got cold, WHAT A PAIN. There were other issues as well: No guide or book to tell you about the house, many of the doors were very difficult to shut or open, the leg on the foosball table was ready to fall off, the refrigerator leaked water on the floor, the light outside was always going on throughout the night and shown into the bedroom, and the mattress in one of the bedrooms was like a sponge and not comfortable. When we informed the host about the lack of heat, he said that there were blankets. At the very least this place should not be used until it has central heating or regulated heating for all of the spaces.
Awesome. The house was very cute and cozy. The nights view was one of the best we seen. Sunsets were spectacular. We really enjoyed exploring mead view weâll be back. Thank you. Nancy and elio
The home is modern, clean and very comfortable. Its conveniently located to visit the Grand Canyon and Joshua Tree forest and has all the amenities one would like... friendly owners that were always quick to respond.
We loved the deck and the house itself. Much better than a one-room hotel/motel room. The area was quiet and looks like it is just beginning to build up. It is also just a short ride to the Western rim of the Grand Canyon (Sky Walk). A very peaceful way to spend a few days.
