Don't trust the hotels reservation system

Aber: Anders als beschrieben keinerlei Geschirr, keine Kaffeemaschine, kein Wasserkocher.

My boyfriend and I were traveling from LA and were really looking forward to our opportunity to stay near the west rim and never had the chance. The motel was overbooked and the sister motel that we were redirected by Amy the owner of Meadow view wasn't available. We were travelling all night and finally already at Canyon End motel (sister motel) looking forward to finally settling down however, there was nobody available to help us. So here we are strayed at 2am with nobody to help us or sleep. We already paid for the motel too. We tried driving an additional 50 miles and still there was no places to stay. We never had the chance to see the Grand Canyon and this was heart breaking. Being from NY originally I always wanted to travel to see the Canyon however this was taken from us because of unprofessionalism and poor planning on behalf of management. I am grateful for hotels.com for us, giving our money back, and additional gift card for our troubles.

I am sorry you had that experience. The company you booked through overbooked our property. We receive no money until you stay at the hotel. We have only ten rooms that are completely remodeled and we supply coffee and a refrigerator and a microwave. We had nothing to do with you overbooking and did our best to accommodate you in a town with two motels.
