Grand Canyon West trip
Publié le 8 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayNice, quiet property, with well equipped kitchen. We especially enjoyed watching the quail come in from the nearby brush to roost in trees near the house. Easy drive to GC West. Host was very responsive & helpful.

Lake Mead and Grand Canyon visit

time of the year, but the house was a great respite from the heat!

Anniversary trip cut short.
Publié le 13 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our time at the property until the AC went out during the " historic heat wave" and we moved to a hotel in Boulder City. Owners did everything they could, but it didn't work out. When we arrived there we saw a sign above the thermostat saying that the AC was old and not to set below 75, which we didn't. I wish they would've been proactive about the AC and replaced it sooner. Owners did refund us, but it was very stressful during a time when we just wanted to be enjoying our aniversario trip. Property is beautiful and the mountains are stunning. We really liked it there.

We are so sad the AC unit went out while you were there! We do have the AC serviced twice a year and try our best to make sure everything is in perfect working order for our guests… but even with the best maintenance, things sometimes break. The AC unit has been replaced with a new one. I’m glad that you at least had a few good days before this happened so you had a chance to relax a bit and enjoy the house before you had to get a different place. We apologize for the stressful few hours and hope the rest of your trip was wonderful and you had a nice anniversary!

Grand Canyon visit
Publié le 2 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe love everything about the house and the town of Meadview. The people were so kind. We experienced the Waffle cone, the Boathouse cafe and the market. It was so much fun. We went to the Grand Canyon and walked the Skywalk and also went horseback riding at the Western Ranch. It was definitely one of our best vacations yet and it wouldn't have been as much fun if we had not had the pleasure of staying at your house. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!!

Great place to stay
Publié le 18 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayVery well appointed, comfortable property. Kitchen has everything you need. Coffee and creamer was supplied by the host as well as snacks on the counter. Do bring non-perishables with you, no large grocery stores nearby.
Close to skywalk and zip lines. An hour and half from Hoover Dam and Lake Mead sightseeing tour. Beautiful sunset view from the side of the house. Everything we wanted.
Host was very responsive. Made our stay very comfortable.
