It’s about a mile walk to the Poblado area but what a nice beautiful walk! We loved walking everyday! There is a grocery store right down the street. They have a kitchen in some rooms but they didn’t have forks, spoons, knives or cooking utensils. The response time when requesting any of these things wasn’t fast. The most frustrating thing we had was trying to get toilet paper everyday- the rolls are really little- it’s like gold there 😂 once I had to go the the restaurant and take a roll. Now for the good—the staff was really friendly and the rooftop bar is unreal! Beautiful view with a temperature controlled gorgeous pool! The pineapple wings and mojitos were incredible! The rooms are very clean with comfortable beds. I would suggest getting the larger room with a living room area. We enjoyed lounging on the couch area late at night. The street noise was an issue so get the higher up rooms if possible. Overall great hotel but you might buy toilet paper at the store! 😎

Less than mediocre experience… Location: fine and feels relatively safe but it’s not in a popular area. As a tourist, it’s minimum 15 min drive far from anywhere you’ll want to visit. Service: AWFUL! #1- Check in and check out took at least 30 minutes. #2- We booked a couples massage and they confirmed the appointment but when we showed up at the spa we were scheduled for an hour apart. #3- It felt very hostile walking into the place, not at all welcoming. #4- we asked for coffee several times for multiple days and when it finally did arrive, they forgot the cups. Rooms: spacious and nice but nothing special. You have to pay for literally everything including coffee pods.

This is one of the nicer places to stay in Medellin. Our accommodations were comfortable and it was easy to get around town from this location. The rooftop bar, Ze View, was amazing. Really enjoyed the cocktails and appetizers. Also, the buffet breakfast is very good with excellent service from the wait staff. My only negatives (and keeping me from giving this a 5 star) is that we reported a problem with our bathroom sink where water would spray everywhere when the faucet was turned on. Despite us reporting this and asking to have it fixed, it was never repaired during our 3 day stay. In addition, my wife discovered that a power bank phone charger was missing from the nightstand on our day of check out. Probably our fault for not putting it in the room safe, but didn’t expect this from a luxury hotel.
