A mountain gem

Every inch of this property is everything you could ever want in a mountain retreat and more. Two nights is not enough time so I'm already planning my next stay .

Beautiful, peaceful escape
Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved staying at Peachtree Farm. So tranquil and cosy. The fire pit was a huge success for the kids. So well equipped with everything you could want and more. Beds were warm and comfortable. We had a large mob of kangaroos visit the top paddock at dusk which was lovely. Excellent recommendations from our host which we followed and enjoyed. Mermaid caves, Megalong Tearooms and Centennial pass Grotto/canyon were highlights. Will definitely visit again.

Megalong beauty

A Home away from Home

The cabin itself was stunning. Very clean, and had every need met ... from crockery and silverware to condiments and drinking water.
The location was a rural wonderland; perfect for having a morning coffee while listening to the sounds of nature.

Lovely, wintery stay
Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I decided we wanted a short wintery break away from our tropical slice of paradise in far north Queensland. It seems that we had forgotten how cold winter down south can be. The cottage is a lovely place, thoughtfully decorated, extremely well provisioned and in a beautiful area. We just struggled to stay warm despite the woodstove and reverse cycle airconditioning, because the cottage is old (which is part of its charm) and not insulated (a general Australian problem). However, being cold says more about us and I would love to come back in warmer times.
Sharon was a wonderful host. Quick with answering questions and ready to provide local information.

Oh Madeleine, of course you would have found a huge difference between tropical North Queensland and winter in the Blue Mountains!
