Room was in need of renovation. Fittings are old and paintwork in very poor condition. Superficially the room looked clean but on closer inspection it had not been well cleaned at all. Handy location to Beaconsfield shopping centre and to St. John of God Hospital.

Definately need to put microwave in room and cutlery / crockery
Foxtel or kayo would be a great addition too although not as important as a microwave

The Lodge was very tired and run down. There were many cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and the towel, while clean, were stained. The rooms were very cold, necessitating the heater be left on over night while sleeping, no extra blanket provided.

Not very clean ,could do with a good vacuum!!bathroom light not working ,had to change it myself .nt cleaned or serviced no clean towels or soap rubbish emptied in the week I stayed.definitely wont be back !

For us the location was perfect for our situation..
The owner was very accommodating with our checkout time , as i need a day procedure at the local hospital and that extra hour was perfect.

My stay was quiet and the room was tidy, minimal but perfect for my needs as I was quite busy. I loved the shower pressure- nice and strong. Bed was comfy and the room had a good sized feel. Only thing I would want for next time is a brief map of the motel as I was sire there was a laundry there but couldn't find it. Overlall I'd stay there again
