We checked in late and the checkin was slow and clumsy. In fairness I think he was new. We were meant to have a bottle of wing on the room which was not there. In the morning we were disturbed by housekeeping twice was before 9am and the second time just before 10. Check out time was 11am. Overall is comfy but service was lacking.

We had the pleasure of choosing the Dorset beautiful hotel very contemporary staff lovely really helpful the only thing we didn’t like was we we had information saying the him bar was open until 22.30 at 9.30 I asked for a cocktail and was refused as he said he was closing but didn’t close until 10pm very disappointing also for the price we paid I would have expected at least a few biscuits in the room for morning coffee

It was a mostly beautiful and convenient stay. The room facilities were excellent. I question if the pool is actually heated and the spa is nothing short of dangerous - although once safely in, is glorious.

The hotel phone system did not work any time I tried to call Guest Services. There was no in-room menu so had to call the hotel using the external phone number to find out how to access in-room dining. Used the QR code to order room service and couldnt even order any of the items. Was unable to order a hot drink for myself or my 8 yr old son. What sort of hotel doesnt have barista services available? The pool was cold, over-crowded and floors unclean. Very uncomfortable beds and generally super disappointing. Had to leave earlier than expected due to an emergency and the hotel refused to refund 3 x breakfast's although we were not there. Terrible customer service! This is NOT a family friendly hotel and I would not recommend it.

I visited with my niece for her birthday and the staff were amazing. I spoke to Caroline and she assisted with a surprise I had and even left balloons, chocolate and hand written birthday card from several staff for her. I can’t recommend them enough, especially Caroline. Customer service is exceptional.

Overall, an excellent stay! The rooms were impeccably clean and tidy, as always. Although there was a minor issue with breakfast despite paying for this option when booking, however, staff handled it with professionalism and resolved it quickly, minimizing the inconvenience. I’ve been a returning guest several times and highly recommend this as the go-to place to stay when in Melbourne!
