Tired, dated property with plenty of room in good location
Publié le 10 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis otherwise good place is let down badly by its tired state every where you look. Very basic old furnishings, dirty stained sofa as an example. Could be great if the owner put some money back into it. As a minimum some thorough proper cleaning

Publié le 26 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayOur group had a nice stay, pool was fantastic. Would have loved another couch in the lounge room, so we weren’t squeezed onto 2 couches.
Overall the house was fine, not amazing but for the low price at that location, it’s great.

The house is really really dirty and the kitchen extremely dirty all the knifes are rusted the couch can not be used of how dirty it is. The toaster doesn't work. The swimming pool is dirty and cold

Hi Rayan, I am terribly sorry to hear your feedback. I will certainly pass this onto the cleaner. However, the pool is an outdoor pool. Hence, for the weather during your stay, i.e. below 15 degrees top each day, it is going to be cold. I have checked the kitchen utensils based on your feedback but can't find rusty knife. Note: the knifes are rust proof. There are certain stains on the couch cover which was from the previous guest who checked out before you and we didn't have sufficient time to change it.

This house needs a lot of repair and maintenance work done to bring it up to standard.
Publié le 13 janv. 2021 sur HomeAwayHouse was a decent size, however it has not had any decent clean for years by the look of it. Honestly spent hours walking around with antibacterial spray not knowing where to start (lucky I packed some cleaning supplies). The oven was filthy with grease and there was layers of dust underneath our bed. Cleaner should have gone to Specsavers! Went and bought a vacuum to clean the floors whilst there as house doesn't have one. There was a mop but no proper bucket. There is only one lounge area and the tv only has free to air channels. I don't normally speak badly of people like this, but honestly if you are charging people hundreds of dollars per night to stay in there, the very least you can do is make sure the cleaners are doing their job. The house needs a lot of TLC and maintenance done on it. It is in a very good position not far from the beach and town. The owner is very responsive and replies promptly. Unfortunately I would not recommend the house to anyone, and I myself would not book the venue again.

Thanks Joss for your review. The house was definitely cleaned and sanitized. Vacuum cleaner is not provided to avoid potential disputes as it was damaged multiple times in the past. Mop bucket was damaged prior to your stay and haven't got the chance to replace it before you check in. It is now replaced.
There is no paid TV program as per listing description. However, the TV is a 55 inch smart TV which suits all groups needs.
The oven was cleaned and I have all the photos.
The house is only one minute walk to beach with six bedrooms and a huge private pool. It is also pet friendly. With the price you paid, it is not possible to find anything similar.
Please note your group misused the pool by jumping from the garage roof to the pool and also through towels on top of the house roof.
I don't normally speak badly about people. However people can judge themselves that whether words coming from group like this is reliable.

Great spot if you have a big group.
