This hotel is awful, check in was late for me no one around to help when I first arrived, the place is old and in need of refurbishing, the room wasn’t really prepared with any eye to detail, coffee machine but no coffee or tea available, the pictures on the website do not show its real state, very low quality and price is high based on the actual quality of the place , would never stay or recommend this place to anyone . This was a bad mistaken wishing I had gone else where .

Pool area chairs falling apart and pool had alot of bugs that were never cleaned out.
Horrible sewage odor when leaving side door.

There are two types of (affordable) hotels: 1) ones that are basic, but are nice enough to allow you to sleep, shower and watch to comfortably or 2) ones that are so filthy you sleep on top of the bed with your clothes on ( including shoes) out of fear that you might end up coming in contact with any material that may be on the surface of the bed.

The hotel is under renovation so the facility and the rooms weren't five-star but were livable. The hotel staff were amazing, the young man who checked us in and the older gentleman who checked us out were very accommodating, Shantae the staff member in charge of breakfast was amazing as well, but Ms. Martha the all-around jack of all trades was fantastic.

Located within easy walk to Cracker Barrel Restaurant. But hotel is at the start of a major renovation (very much needed) and feels disorganized. Does not look well cared for. Smell in halls is very strong, and smell in room was musty and caused my tongue and throat to burn. Lobby is cramped. I found out afterwards that it is often used to house transients until a more permanent place can be found.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was very clean and the staff was very pleasant and always asking if everything was ok. There was one employee that stands out the young man worked the afternoon/evening shift and always helpful and very positive! I wish I had gotten his name. Thankyou to the whole staff!!

Great stay
