Nice place!
Publié le 31 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall, this is a very nice place to stay in Memphis. Very nice condo, very clean, secure parking, which is very important! We would certainly stay there again. The only caveat that I would like to let the property owner know about lack of soap for showering, several lightbulbs were burnt out, etc. Minor issues which could be addressed very easily for routine, maintenance and upkeep.

Publié le 8 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWell to start the photo does not have anything to do with my rental - three days before arriving I reached out to the host because I had been sent nothing about the check-in process, codes, what have you. I get a reply the next day stating that the unit is under renovation and is not available - What? The host blamed VRBO for not cancelling the reservation earlier but said he had another unit in the same building with the same lay-out, great I thought. So I took it to avoid the stress of having to scramble to find something else, but left not happy. The unit needs work, it was not very clean, walls need paint, towels were dirty, carpet was old and warn out, the shower door almost fell-off when I opened it, no hangers for clothes in the master, instant coffee, who leaves instant coffee for their guests? I have stayed in many VRBO and this was sadly not up to the standards I have come to expect. This unit needs a major upgrade and does not come close to anything like the picture of the unit I was supposed to get, not even close.

Hi Ron,
Thank you so much for your feedback. It seems there is some confusion. Your message to me was from a different account from the one that actually reserved my condo. There was a flood in one of my two condos and repairs are underway. I thought you were trying to make a new booking since the account you messaged from did not have one. With that said, VRBO was to cancel all bookings for this particular unit through December to allow for repairs. I’m glad I was able to accommodate you in my other unit, but I am not sure if you are mixing it up with another property? You mentioned shower door almost coming off the hinge, but one shower has a curtain and the other has a sliding door. You also mentioned instant coffee. We have a keurig with K-Cups, a regular brewing coffee pot, and a French press. I’m also confused because when we spoke on the phone, you seemed delighted and had only positive things to say. All this to be said, I will surely be evaluating the condo to see if any of these concerns do pertain to it. They do not reflect the work of my housekeeper. Again, thank you for your feedback and your business. I extend an open invitation for you to stay at the renovated condo at a discounted rate once all of the work is complete (12/05 is the date they are giving me).

Great Place in The Edge

The place was very clean and well appointed. I especially liked the decorative odes to Elvis, Al Green, Otis Redding and other Memphis giants of music.
The neighborhood is akin to other cities' art/up-and-coming areas. A great benefit of this was being away from downtown but just just close enough that it was a 10-15 minute walk to places; very close to the Memphis Redbirds' stadium.
Parking was a breeze. Security sound.
Final note: The host was very communicative and helpful from the booking date to checkout. He included handy, laminated sheets with recommendations of what to do, attractions, and favorite restaurants around town.
Fantastic stay.
