Just blocks from historic Beale Street, FedEx Forum, National Civil Rights Museum, Memphis in May activities, amazing restaurants & great views of the Mississippi River. You’ll love the LOCATION, the building history, exposed brick, the new high-end appliances including washer/dryer, no stairs (first floor access), gated off-street parking, building security & smart home technology.
The space
You not only have the benefit of being located in the heart of Memphis within walking distance of nearly anything you might want to see downtown, but the space is completely upgraded with top-of-the-line appliances & state-of-the-art smart home technology. It's a perfect confluence of historical elegance with modern convenience.
Guest access
You have exclusive use of the entire condo, including bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and the washer/dryer.

You also have have a dedicated parking space in the gated parking lot adjacent to the building.
Other things to note
This is a one-bedroom condo with a queen bed, but I also provide a self-inflating queen-size Aerobed complete with sheets & blankets that you can use to easily accommodate a total of four people.

As Advertised and More!
Lovely little condo with everything a couple needs to vacay in the south. Best equipped kitchen I have ever seen on Vrbo! I mentioned our trip was to celebrate our anniversary and JR left us a bottle of wine and a very sweet note. Our first time in Memphis, but we cannot imagine a better location. The neighborhood looks a little industrial on Streetview, but my sweetie and I strolled around quite safely. It's just a short walk from the start of Beale Street and there are two Diners, Drive-ins and Dives restaurants on South Main within a block of the condo: SOB (South of Beale) and Good Fortune. We also recommend the Green Beetle, also within a block, for an excellent lunch. South Main has multiple eateries and is clearly being developed. Condo security is first rate: the parking is gated; access to the building is coded, as is access to the condo. JR will request a pin from you to set the condo lock, so it's an easy number to remember and you know it's secure. Strongly recommend and will be going back ourselves as we have not yet managed to check off all the Triple-D places in Memphis on our list!

The condo is just a few blocks away from Beale Street and is gated/code controlled. The place was very clean and had every amenity you could need including more bottled water than most stores 😉. Amazing apartment!! Very clean! Comfortable bed and pillows!! TV in living-room and bedroom. From the moment we booked, the host communicated all the info we needed and checked in again right before our trip. Upon arrival, it was very easy to check in due to his very clear directions. Once we walked in, it was very evident that this unit is taken great care of. It was very clean, well stocked with anything you could imagine you would need, and decorated very nicely! While we were there, we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. On check out day, the host communicated a very short and reasonable check out process and wished us safe travels. When we travel to Memphis again, we will definitely book this unit and stay longer! It is like a home away from home!

FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY
Our stay could NOT have been better. The place is perfect, very clean, very comfortable and in the perfect location for seeing all things Memphis; most can be reached on foot. If not, there is an inexpensive (free sometimes) trolley system (at least while we were there); a "sort of golf cart ride system for tips only and, of course, Lyft/Uber are very available. If you drive there, your vehicle can be parked in a gated lot across the street. JR & Stephanie are SO responsive to your needs. The most responsive host I've ever experienced. The people in Memphis are VERY nice and helpful. If you are going to Memphis, I would highly recommend (insist) you stay at JR's place at the Ambassador Hotel. Even the hotel has a great history & there is the Green Beetle right across the street, for food and/or drinks. Great great place to stay. Thank you, Janice & Warren

Perfect location. Restaurants, lounges, shopping, and BBQ cookoff are all within walking distance. The condo is just as pictured. It was clean, tastefully decorated, and stocked with water, chocolate kisses, glassware, and dishware. Parking and entry are secure. JR was a great host. We are especially appreciative that pets are welcome! This will be our #1 choice to stay when we return to Memphis.

We stopped in Memphis for a quick 2 night visit. And the unit was ideal for our family of three. The condo was super clean well decorated and the kitchen well equipped. The beds are comfortable. A Blue's Visit
Great location to be able to walk to Beale Street and the Blues Hall of Fame, which was one of our stops on our cross country trip. Clean, convenient, communication, contemporary Honestly the best rental experience so far!!! This condo has it all! Super soft, high end bedding. Stocked with the essentials that I usually pack-but elevated quality. Nice Coffee Selection, paper towels, t.p., bottled water, hand soaps, kitchen supplies, mints, etc. Nice touches like the seasonal decorative towels in the kitchen. I have never seen such attention to detail and cleanliness! My teenage daughter appreciated the vintage/industrial chic theme including the exposed brick, artwork, updated smart lighting, tv’s, speakers etc. Great location for most sight seeing options like Orpheum theater, Civil Rights Museum, Beale St., Blues Museum, Peabody Ducks, etc, etc Communication and suggestions from owner- superb! This rental has its own website with building history, suggested sites and restaurants! Only negative is the door to the main building slamming during high traffic times. We will be back!
