Overall the stay was good—location and property. There are two rooms with uncomfortable mattresses that in our opinion should be updated (downstairs bedroom and one bedroom upstairs not the master). Aware cleaning staff are human but shower head in upstairs hallway bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly (mold). Master bathroom soap dispensers should be labeled and updated.

My stay was nice and very pleasant everything we needed was there …I’ll definitely be booking when we I come back to Memphis

The property is centrally located, 10-15 mins to just about anywhere in the city. It has the potential of being a great place. The living room tv was broke they fixed it immediately after contact. However, it needs a deep clean, new furniture and mattresses (well used and abused). For being a VRBO it lacks a lot of supplies that guests need, pots and pans that you can cook with, extra trash bags, some salt, bath mats to step on to get out of the shower, black out curtains for the bedrooms, it’s day light in the bedrooms at night cause of the lights off the houses next door, extra pillow cases for the extra pillows, the floors are sticky, a drying rack for dishes, kitchen hand towels. We couldn’t even cook breakfast there, ended up leaving a lot of food behind. If the property is ever update and we return I most definitely consider staying here again. Location is great.

False advertising and filthy

First we mentioned in our booking we were only staying the night, waking up to continue our drive south. So we did not need anything except to sleep comfortably. I was happy to pay a high price for the night because it had a hot tub/ jacuzzi advertised. There were 3 bedrooms, perfect for a family with 2 kids , and it was pet friendly. When we arrived at 10pm tired we were met with floors that had not been vacuumed, crumbs and hair everywhere, and a red roach sitting right on the base board. Thankfully my partner was there to kill it. After the bug and floors, we decided to inspect the beds before laying down. To our surprise we found hair: curly, straight, and all different lengths. We also found stains on the sheets. When mentioned in a message the host offered to credit half of the cleaning fee. I called the VRBO folks and they were able to talk him into crediting the entire cleaning fee… still not even a dent in what we paid for the night. I told them I really wanted new sheets. There was a letter upon arrival stating that “cleaning crews were humans also and they sometimes miss things, so let us know if you need anything to make your stay right “. So I told them we needed sheets. They threw sheets on the porch, didn’t ring the bell or let us know they were out there. Then told me they would credit the whole clean fee if I left my pictures out of the review. Never got the credit. Unacceptable service, and extremely dirty apartment.

Cooper valley was clean and very roomy. Met all of our needs. We met family half way for a weekend visit and will stay again.

Flase advertising wasn’t what was pictured! ! old couch was all stained smelled terrible ! Coffee pots were dirty still had old coffee left in them ! Very disappointed my worst vrbo stay yet !

Not good

Upon arrival there was broken car glass on the car park. Cleaners were there 1 hour after the 3 o clock checkin and were not finished so another 25 minute delay (though we were granted an hour later checkout). They did not clean up the glass even though they pulled in the driveway and saw it there so we swept it up ourselves. The beds are horrible and uncomfortable. The 3rd bedroom had only a box spring and no mattress so my daughter and I slept on a couch that had a big burn hole in it. No hand soaps in bathrooms. No courtesy coffee pods. No extra (very thin) towels. No extra linens for when we had to sleep on the couch. No way to control the thermostat. Every window was open when we arrived and it smelled like someone was smoking something in there. Floors were filthy in the bathrooms. I cannot believe this was a premier host. I guess I was confused by the premier host lable. I thought it meant an exceptional place to stay. Truly disappointed and can only say we were way overcharged for what we received. I’m in the service industry and I hate to complain but I think this property needs a review that’s honest. All other reviews were 4+ stars and said it was clean. I can only say that was not our experience this stay.

Granny Get-away.

Very clean, comfortable and roomy, although there were several items that should have been provided and were not. After contacting the host, the items were immediately delivered to us. The host was very anxious to please. There is no hot tub. There was very little cookware in the kitchen but we did very little cooking so it was enough for us. Overall this was a good value and we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Would have given 5 stars if it had been properly stocked when we arrived.
