Sheriff's House next to Jailhouse

This former Sheriff's house sits next to the Historic Jailhouse (which is also a vacation rental property) . A separate outbuilding in the back that also held inmates is used as a shared space with the jailhouse and has a pool table. This is a cozy one bedroom home with an outdoor fenced yard. There is a wonderful, covered outdoor seating and dining area that is a shared space with the Jailhouse property.

I loved the house and the Small Town it was located in. The people were very nice. The house was very clean. It took a minute to figure out the flush handle, but it was nice. It was a learning experience being away from it all.

A Good Reason to Visit Memphis
Our family stayed at the jail house in December to celebrate my husband's BDay. Plenty of room for 5 adults. The renovations of this 100 year old jail, I cannot articulate well, but you have to visit this property. We stayed Jan 26-28 at the adjoining Sheriff's house and had a very comfortable stay. The properties are immaculate, very well maintained and very well stocked toiletries and kitchen. We will continue our stays at both properties in Memphis.
