Heart of Mendocino Village, Fabulous Views!

This warm and welcoming home away from home, the Mendocino Village Suite, has an eye to detail and welcomes you to the heart of Mendocino Village. Featuring knock out white water views and lovingly tended gardens, you will walk up a brick path to your private accommodations and a dutch door entry. Just inside is a fully equipped kitchen with a 4 burner gas stove and all you could imagine for preparing a meal if you wish, including a full size fridge. Village Suite also offer a stacked washer and dryer for your use, which is a rare feature in most rentals in Mendocino. Facing south, is a large picture window with a unobstructed, breathtaking view overlooking the Headlands State Park and the Mendocino Bay. There is a smart TV, DVD player and stereo, a love seat, coffee table, desk, and a large Lazyboy chair with massage features and a gas fireplace so you will be cozy and comfortable. There are also books and DVD's for you to enjoy! A dining table perfectly framed in the south facing window, a pillow top queen bed, and near the bed, a bathroom featuring a tub/shower combo and a garden window. Linens and towels are all upgraded100% cotton, as we provide you what we would want to have ourselves! Your comfort is our goal..A Weber gas BBQ and a charcoal BBQ are in the side yard. In the front of Village Suite are two Adirondack chairs looking out south to the bay where you can enjoy a glass of wine and look at the views. Village Suite is walking distance to restaurants, shops and everything. and yet is not situated in a commercial district of the village, so you will have peace and quiet. Once people stay with us they never stay anywhere else.....We have an automatic generator, so power outages are not a problem!!!!!

A Wonderful Stay!

Everything you need is here - kitchen, nice living area with view, bedroom area! It was a rainy weekend, so it was nice to have a little more room than we've previously had with some of the smaller rooms that are so common in the inns in town. Great location, within walking distance to everything you need. Will definitely stay again!

Great Winter Getaway
This was my second time staying at this property. It has a great location. walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the local grocery store. The view from the front window is beautiful. We enjoyed a very relaxing time here filled with hiking and visiting the local shops.

A very well-appointed property! Had everything we needed to feel comfy and warm inside as well as gear for outside. Loved the location with easy access to the bluffs, trails, ocean views, restaurants and shops. We would absolutely return again and for a longer stay!

Never Want To Leave
This last trip—I come every year for my birthday—was my longest stay ever. I thought I’d be satisfied, but as usual, 17 days flashed by. I feel so at home & welcome here, especially because Cheri & Peter are so helpful and kind. Very comfortable & blessedly quiet, a kitchen I can cook in, a TV that gets the NHL, an old-fashioned heated recliner there when you need it, perfect location so you only really need your car for trips to Ft. Bragg & the Mendocino Botanical Gardens. And finally, the magic sound of the buouy & the ocean in the dark of night, better than any sleeping aid. What more can I say?

What a view
