Publié le 17 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayIola Farms was the perfect place to enjoy total relaxation away from the busy world. The cottage was very clean and well appointed for cooking meals. As the listing states, Wi-Fi is available, but at a slower connection. That was exactly what we were looking for- connection in case of an emergency.
The cottage sits directly above the river on a ridge. The partially covered deck was my favorite place to have morning coffee, watch herons and osprey, and just relax. The farm is absolutely gorgeous, the river a refreshing cool spot to spend an afternoon, and the solitude is unmatched.

Magnificent Mendota
Publié le 21 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayHad a wonderful time. Cabin was clean as a whistle, comfy, cozy with anything you could possibly need. If you're looking for a tranquil relaxing place to unwind, stay here. Fishing was great, and the river was refreshingly cool.
The swinging bridge is just a short trip (from the driveway turn left ... go to the sharp curve, park along the road, the trail to the left brings you right to the bridge)

Awesome and Unique
Publié le 30 juin 2024 sur HomeAwaySuch a cute and quaint cabin to be in! We loved the stay and the cows were a huge plus! I would just note that it is better to have a higher sitting car to come in and out! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Peaceful Getaway

We enjoyed fishing and tubing on the river during the day and hanging by the fire pit at night. If you are looking for rest and relation mixed with nature this rental is the perfect.
