Wife is handicapped. Elevator was out of order. Very difficult getting her down to first floor. Didn’t make a big effort to fix the elevator. She couldn’t get down to breakfast so I went down to bring some to our room. They have no trays to carry food up to the room . Overall a very bad experience!

Dirty room, smelly and terrible shower area dirty shower head and the shower area looks like an out house in the forest somewhere. There was a storm, asked the front desk for a late check out amd was told they do not provide. My travel was 70 miles to my desitination and weather condition was forcasted down pour til 1pm. I thought that was so in considerate will not stay here ever. My next visit I'll stay in Peru, IL. I got what I paid for at this hole in the wall

Thank you for the response. We do provide late check out with a fee which you were informed by the front desk agent but you declined to pay the late check out fee. There was no storm other than drizzle, We had 43 check out that morning and no other guest had any problems checking out by 11am. As far as other issues you mentioned which are not true but if you would have informed us we would have been happy to offer you a different room or address those problems right away.

Bathroom fan was very noisy but they came worked on it and it was about the same as the fans in most hotels. Need to setup regular maintenance for sink and tub drains to clean out hair and whatever else is making the drain run slow. The heat / AC filters need to be cleaned on a regular basis both filters where quite dirty. Overall the room was quiet and comfortable.
