Besides the location, this hotel has little to offer. The buffet lunch and dinners were basically the same foods every day for both meals (and not very good), the snack bar offered terrible sandwiches with cold/old fries, and although its 'all-inclusive', there is an upcharge for a lot of things (for example, there's an appealing gelato station at the snack bar with 16 flavors of ice cream, but the only ice cream included in the all-inclusive is a tiny vanilla or strawberry frozen ice cream cup). You even have to rent beach towels to use during your stay. If you're looking for some pools for your kids to play in, this is the place - if you're looking for an upscale all-inclusive resort, definitely skip this place.

Check in experience was very slow and as there are currently two blocks open with two receptions, you have a 50/50 chance of getting the wrong one. Rooms are a little primitive but clean. Make sure to bring your own travel kettle, mug and beach towels as these are not provided but are available for a rental charge of around €2.50 per day. Evening entertainment wasn't great, a little dated and not really aimed at mid30's friends but more at families. Food options were good, not a huge amount of variation, but very solid. Always something to eat. Lots of sun-loungers around and no made scramble for these. Pool's are open between 9.30 and 7.30

If you have noticed that the daily cleaning is not carried out according to protocol, you should inform reception, as it is essential for us to clean and disinfect both the rooms and the common areas. Our beach/pool towels, safe, fridge and other services are clearly described on our website www.clubhotelaguamarina. The spectacular beach of Arenal d'en Castell is a public beach managed by the municipality of Es Mercadal and therefore, unfortunately, we cannot carry out any kind of work such as the construction of toilets on the beach, as well as the management of umbrellas and sunbeds, which is managed by a company outside the hotel. we have previously stayed here with our children , but haven't been since 2007 it was great to see familiar faces , and shocked that the bar staff remembered us. Hotel fairly full. had a short break for our wedding anniversary look forward to visiting again

... one big mistake

We were planning the trip to Menorca for a long time, but this place has changed the dream into the nightmare. The beautiful slides from the pictures are just old and damaged facilities ... without water (the pools are open from 1st of May!). We think that the information about this should be placed on the front page of the description, or minimum - a small print below with the'*' would be very helpful and fair Food - I have no words to descibe it, honestly discusting!

Let me start with the positive: the location is very good. The beach is one of the best in Spain and the water is crystal clear. Good for small children as there are hardly waves. The hotel is right at the beach. Just a nice walk down. The negative: we didn’t like the food so much. The rooms are small and our view was the garbage place of the hotel. What we disliked the most though were the people who come to this hotel. Mostly British families, extremely loud, drinking alcohol from the morning to the evening, smoking all the time. Think tattoos, football jerseys, bad manners. So if you want to have a bit of peace and quiet and are used to 4 stars I wouldn’t recommend this place.
