Tranquil Thanksgiving

Valkyrie checked so many boxes for us: private, beautifully built and decorated, comfy bed, great parking if you are pulling a trailer with a motorcycle, nice neighborhood for long walks, big hot tub that worked just as it should, well appointed, and super close to DeSoto State Park. Can't wait for our next stay! We plan to bring the dog next time.

Publié le 22 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed from Friday the 15th until Sunday the 17th! It was NOT long enough! The location of this cabin is absolutely perfect! If you're looking for a cabin away from everything, this is IT! Its so peaceful you can hear the leaves crunch from the animals in the woods. We enjoyed every minute of it. We went for our anniversary and decided we will make it a tradition every year to go back. We were unable to build a fire even though we paid $30 for the wood. The wood was not left and it says not to take from the wood pile so that was a bummer. The cabin was very cozy and the bed was very comfortable ! We didn't want to leave!!

Excellent Location to Unplug

Front porch sitting in the swing with morning coffee, relaxing by the fire pit roasting marshmallows and watching the sun set on the back porch made for a perfect fall day!! Looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing Cabin!

The decor is amazing, especially the master bathroom and we loved being able to go down to the creek and explore, just behind the house. It is steep, so be prepared. Would definitely go back.
