Walking distance to all Meredith attractions. 2 minute walk to Lake Winnipesaukee, Custom built with all the extras needed for an amazing stay. BBQ grill and outdoor patio with seating, well equipped kitchen, luxury towels and bath amenities. Simply beautiful and less than a 5 minute walk to Church Landing and all Mill Falls properties, Spa, movies, grocery, library, several bars, coffee shops and restaurants. Many town beaches are a close driving distance. Rent a boat for your length of stay or bring your boat along to play! Walking distance to EKAL Activity Center where you can rent canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. You can also take a chartered boat trip around Lake Winnipesaukee as well. Hiking trails for the family and your pup just steps from your door. We allow one well behaved pre-approved dog per stay with a $175 pet fee. Sometimes we do allow 2 dogs but must be pre-approved. Dogs can not be pre-approved on same day of arrival. Please make sure to provide information on your pup with your inquiry such as size, weight, breed and age. House was cozy and clean. No detail overlooked and felt like staying at a friends place. Short walk to anything you’re looking for and short drive to nearby adventures . Loved hearing the ferry boat horn and riding the short line. Cool Spot.

Excellent rental by The Mills
The house is adorable, exceptionally clean, stocked with plenty of necessities, and also had a lot of supplies for families with young kids/babies. Our host was exceptionally responsive, reachable, and helpful (don’t sleep on the local attraction guide!). We were able to walk to/from a wedding at the nearby Mills property with no issues at all. The only minor drawback to the property is that it faces a busy road, but we kept the windows closed and that blocked the sound of motorists just fine.

Every detail was perfect
Our family enjoyed a weekend at the lake in this perfect cottage. We were pleased to see our every need was met upon our arrival, with brownies on the counter and treats waiting for our dogs. A relaxing stay in Meredith
We have been to a lot of vrbos and this by far has been the best. This cottage is so comfortable and meticulous. There were fresh flowers in every room, homemade brownies in the kitchen, treats for the dog, so many little touches made it so welcoming. Not to mention, it was spotless! It was a quick walk to shops, the lake, and lots of restaurants. We would love to stay here again!

Perfect Summer Retreat
Our family of six plus a happy boxer enjoyed our annual trip even more this year because of this well curated property. The beds were quite comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms well stocked with essentials, and the tv channels were ample at downtime. The location made it easy to walk to the town docks for the numerous lobster rolls and frequent ice cream cones and there was plenty of yard to exercise the pup. Hoping to return soon!

Trifecta of a Great Host, Home and Location
Our family of five had a wonderful stay at the VRBO Cottage in Historic Meredith Village, Connecticut. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed by our host, who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage itself was immaculate, with every room sparkling clean and thoughtfully arranged. We particularly appreciated the convenience of the location. It was just a short walk to an array of charming restaurants and shops, making it easy for us to explore the village without needing to drive. This was especially handy given our busy schedule as we were there to attend wedding events of a close family friend. Overall, the combination of a welcoming host, pristine accommodation, and a prime location made our stay at the VRBO Cottage truly memorable. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

A gem in Meredith!
The Meredith Cottage is an oasis away from home. The owners have considered all the details and amenities one needs while staying there. The house is very well stocked, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Location is walking distance to great shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

First VRBO
The cottage was very cute. The host was so great at answering my questions. Some of my siblings and I brought my Dad to Meredith NH because he loves the area. We were out driving, going to the bookstore and George’s Diner. I wish I could have stayed longer to use all the amenities this place offered. I was not sure what to expect since I have only stayed in motels while on vacation. I hope all my VRBO experiences are as good.

Wonderful Wedding Weekend
There were 5 adults that were there for a wedding at Church Landing- so could not beat the proximity to Meredith Village. The cottage itself is gorgeous and meticulously maintained. All the little extras- fresh flowers, home made brownies and well stocked with some essentials that don’t want to drag with you on vacation- detergent/shampoo/spices and stuff to wrap food up- all make for a pleasant stay. Even took in a hike at Gunstock Mountain with breathtaking views of the Lakes Region and the White Mountains. I highly recommend this cottage.

Perfect Experience
We were visiting Meredith for a wedding at Mill Falls for the weekend. The house was the perfect location for us and easily accommodated our family of six. Everything we needed was in the house and the personal touches of brownies and fresh cut flowers were an unexpected bonus. Everything was clean and inviting. Sharon was a great host and quickly responded to all of inquiries. Would definitely rent again if we are ever back in the area.

Amazing Vacation Spot!
My husband and I came into town, frequently visit NH, for a long anniversary weekend. This was the perfect spot for us! Everything was within walking distance, the house was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts went above and beyond even leaving chocolate brownies and bunnies since we were there Easter weekend. Would highly recommend!!!

Amazing NH getaway home!
The house was beautiful and in immaculate condition when we arrived. There was even a batch of fresh homemade brownies waiting for us which was above and beyond! It was a perfect place to bring our dog for “his” vacation… literally everything was within walking distance from the house except the day we went skiing. We will definitely be back here in fall when we can enjoy some of the great hiking spots nearby. 100% recommend this home and we will definitely be back!
