Casa Lucia Hotel is just as promised by the description, photos and prior reviews. Great walkable area, lots to see and do and the people that work in the hotel are very nice and helpful. There is construction on the streets nearby so if you have mobility challenges this may be a consideration until the city is done with the work. For us it was not a problem and our stay has been fantastic.

Wonderful hotel in a perfect location. The room was massive and spotless, the common area was peaceful. I had a desk in my room so I was able to work. The fragrance they spray in the lobby is delightful. I will absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Merida.

Giving a four overall instead of a five because there was no wifi in the hotel. They said it was a problem and they were trying to fix it. I think an upgrade to the place would be a breakfast place with more options (vegan for example). The location is really great and couldn't be better. The owner is very sweet. I think her staff were great. I think if I owned this hotel, I might offer more concierge type services and people would pay for that.

This is my second stay here. I love this hotel. It is charming, centrally located, has a great pool area, friendly staff and very clean. It is truly a gem. The beds are very comfortable, ac works great, rooms have a small fridge and a safe. Love the Casa Lucia, and I will be back!!
