Everyone is friendly and helpful. The hotel location is excellent. The room decor lacks soul, so you could be anywhere in the US in 1970. That said, my dining experiences were delightful and varied — from brunch to poolside nachos to room service to elegant Italian. I would return in a heartbeat. I felt safe and comfortable.

Magical Merida
Posted Aug. 5, 2024 on HotelsI had business to conduct in Merida and had to stay the night unexpectedly. Unfortunately, I arrived before 3pm so was offered to wait or pay an early check-in fee. As it was election weekend and dry law was in effect, I chose shopping over 'early check-in' fee and returned later. Sadly, for the restaurant, I returned with food I happily enjoyed in my beautiful room. Bed was awesome and coffee from machine was lovely.

Watch out with the Taxi service outside the Hotel, they will over charge you especially if you have kids and want to go out. The hotel has no good drinks all the Bartenders are new. Poor drink selection.
