Was expecting better
Publié le 22 juin 2024 sur HotelsThe property is in a great location for what we wanted to do, and the owner communicated very well through the booking confirmation and onboarding process. However, from the reviews, I was expecting something better, as whilst the property was very clean, it looked run down inside with stained seating on the sofa. The Venetian blinds are ineffective in blocking out the security light on the cabin next door, so not dark when sleeping or the sun coming in the morning. The internet is poor. Worse, and totally unexpected, was that every morning woken up around 6 due to road noise of the drivers of likely dog walkers whom frequent the nearby beach. For us it was disappointing in an otherwise excellent location.

Hi Mark,Thanks for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the location and some aspects of your stay. We apologise for the security light – this is a sensor light and the photo-cell had stayed on by mistake and has since been corrected. If you had let us know about this when it happened, it would have been fixed immediately. We are not sure about what aspects of the cabin are “run down” as you did not specify these. Just for information, the following refurbishments have been made to this cabin: New dining and lounge furnishings, new TV, new bedding, new window coverings, new crockery and cutlery and renovated bathroom. The cabins are all being re-painted internally in August (external painting was completed last year). We are sorry there was a stain on the sofa – again if you had alerted us to this, it could have been easily remedied during your stay. Thanks again for staying with us.

It is in my most favourite position as it is walking distance to Short Point.
It was perfect for a single person stay with a kitchen and all you can need.
I would highly recommend to family and friends.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, conveniently located by the beach, with plenty of space and easy parking.
Short drive to shops, some interesting walking tracks and a nice bike ride along a bike path to Pambula and Pambula beach.

A little step for an oldie but able to park round back which made it easier to get in cabin
