High price for what we experienced
Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayDishwasher was not installing properly, leaked, and we had to hand wash all dishes. Upstairs shower leaked into main floor bathroom. Garbage pick up and two deliveries of water in the middle of the day on Saturday. Only bery basic cleaning done. Kitchen appliances filthy.

Hello. We have never had a problem with the dishwasher and it worked fine today. Yes we do have trash taken away on Saturdays and water delivered. Neither of the contractors went inside. We did make you aware ahead of time and there weren't any complaints. Its disappointing when guest don't address “issues” when staying but afterwards without making us aware. Thanks

Relaxing Getaway

We are return visitors, and I loved seeing the upgrades to the furniture in the living room and turning the basement into a bedroom and game room. We have a wonderful time relaxing and laughing all weekend. Thank you for keeping this memory alive for us as a family.

There were no major issues with the property. The hosts were also extremely helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond for us multiple times leading up to our stay.

Family Time

Property is nice. Owners are shady.
Publié le 11 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were charged for a broken toilet seat that was already broken and glued back together when we arrived. We were charged for extra cleaning when there was trash under just about every bed when we got there including a bra. There was trash in the back lot that wasn’t even ours that we cleaned up. They even invented a broken chair. Now maybe the chair exists but if so we didn’t use it. They charged us for dog hair on furniture when we paid a pet fee. they charged us for dirty bed sheets when there’s no washer. Overall the property is pretty nice. Too bad the owners are shady.

It typically takes our cleaning crew four hours to clean, and it took them eight - so we were charged and paid for the additional work. We have pictures of the broken items and we were never made aware of anything broken when you arrived. We can only go off what the cleaning crew says if we weren't made aware. We had to pay for additional trash to be removed. Message from the cleaning company, "All the lights were on, the doors were unlocked, there was pet hair on the furniture, there were puke stains on the sheets, all the trash was still in trash cans, and there were illegal drugs left there." I'm not sure how we are shady - we pay people what we are charged for additional work from not following the check-in/out instructions. We actually had to pay more than the $250 deposit, but didn't charge you for that. Also, we reached out to you several times, and this is the first response we have received. Please read previous reviews for feedback on how the property is managed. Thank you

Annual family gathering

Secluded Cabin
Publié le 2 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayVery nice cabin secluded back in the woods. Tons of room inside with lots of bedrooms, large living room and game room. Plenty of area outside for activities. Nice fire pit area and hot tub off the deck. Close enough to Brookville if you need supplies but still feels like you’re miles away from civilization! Recommend!

Great woods cabin weekend spot
