Don't Hesitate, Book it!
Posted Jul. 9, 2023 on HotelsShopped all over the train station area, and I can easily recommend Campanile Metz as very good, inexpensive and literally next door to the train station. Our room faced the train station and we NEVER heard a train. You have to walk thru the train station to get to the restaurants, but Metz is a small town and this is not a big deal.

This is a competant business hotel, if you don't need luxury thrills. The historic center of Metz is about 20 minutes walking away and WORTH visiting. What a great town to enjoy French hospitality and leasure culture.

Lovely clean room with great view. Our air conditioning wasnt working so we were offered another room. Lovely continental breakfast

Excellent stay

It was rather expensive and not clean. I guess you’re paying to be close to the train and walking distance to downtown. I won’t stay there again.
