During our recent stay at Avalon Hotel in South Beach, we had an absolutely wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in many ways. From the location to the amenities and the exceptional service, this hotel truly stands out. Location: One of the best things about Avalon Hotel is its prime location. It is situated in the heart of South Beach, just a short walk from the beautiful sandy beach. This made it incredibly convenient for us to enjoy morning strolls by the ocean, soak up the sun, and take in the vibrant atmosphere of South Beach without needing to drive or plan elaborate transportation. Parking: Unlike many hotels in the area where parking is a challenge or exorbitantly priced, Public Parking on 7th Street and Washington neAvalon Hotel offers overnight parking at a very reasonable rate of $20. This was a huge relief, as it allowed us to park conveniently without worrying about additional costs. The process was seamless, and the staff made sure we were taken care of. Cleanliness and Room Quality: The hotel is impeccably clean, from the lobby to the rooms. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and relaxing environment. The decor is tasteful and aligns with the vibrant yet laid-back South Beach vibe. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job every day, ensuring that our room remained fresh and tidy. Exceptional Service: The staff at Avalon Hotel truly go above and beyond to ensure guests have an amazing stay.

Punching above it's weight
Tiny boutique hotel with an outstanding location on Ocean Drive steps from the beach. Whilst the windows are largely air tight and keep a lot of the sound out, it is never going to be 100%. So ideally try for a room higher up! Service on the whole was absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended.

The hotel I originally booked was so poorly I had to find another place to stay. Luckly the Avalon had vacancies and only a few dollars more a night that the previous nightmare. Booking was a breeze and the staff at both the hotel and the restaurant were so unbelievably kind and accommodating if I ever come back to Miami I will be staying at the Avalon. The location is great. Right across from the beach, restaurants galore! The Restaurant A fish Named Avalon was unbelievable. Pricey but again the service and the food was well worth the money spent. I can not recommend the Avalon more.

The Avalon Hotel was a good choice for our 3 night warm getaway from the winter. Comparing similar options, this was likely a great option. There was self-serve coffee in the mornings which we appreciated. A few things I noticed that I wish were different: sound - In the mornings and evenings we could hear every door on our floor shut (the door closing sound is loud). This is not make/break on its own, of course. Second, with check in at 4 and check out at 11, you might expect your room to be serviced sometime between 11-3, right? On our first full day, I called the front desk because our room was not serviced until after 4PM. By this time, we were back in the room getting ready for dinner so when the attendants knocked on the door, we asked them for clean towels. They proceeded to clean around me while I sat on the bed. I'm a down to earth person so I could deal with that. It is a little odd when they do this without asking or speaking to me at all. On our second full day, after being out all day and hoping to return to a refreshed room, our room was not visited at all. The room itself didn't really need much attention but the towels do need to be replaced daily. The rooms/climate are humid enough that they don't dry quickly so this part of the service. On our way out, I spoke to the front desk and requested a visit. They did not have an explanation and offered to give me towels themselves. On our way back from dinner, I collected them. Overall, we may or may not stay again.
