Our stay in Mami
Posted Mar. 27, 2024 on HomeAwayThere were things we loved, old home, lots of rooms and bathrooms. Great location. Floors were not clean and needed more refrigerator room. Shelves missing and with 16 people could use another frig. Needed the 2 air mattresses for our group but had to ask atleast 8 times to get that. Bathroom doorknob was broken and toilet ran continuously but those got fixed . Loved that when coffee pot broke they replaced for us. Overall, super great house, just needs to be cleaned better. Beds could be more comfortable. Would stay here again.

Family Holiday
Posted Jan. 8, 2023 on HomeAwayWe were a family of 13, grandparents, children, spouses, grandkids from London England and Houston Texas. The house is a great size for this family. BUT..we had to request Towels, broom, vacuum, silverware and coffee cups, which were provided. The furniture in the dinning and family rooms are in very poor condition and not enough chairs to sit. The bedrooms have nice beds, but no dressers and some don't even have closets. The kitchen is bare bones...not enough plates or glasses, no serving type dishes, no baking or roasting type cookware. The pots and pans are very limited and the size needed for a house this size. The laundry is outside in the elements, we requested laundry baskets to carry our clothes..whch they could not provide. We complained that the washer was not working and a week into our stay they did bring a new one. We also complained about the floors were not clean, they did offer to come claen, but went and bought a swifter..which seems to be how they clean the floor. The oven has major burnt on food which does not come off. We asked if the pool was heated and told YES! The pool is NOT HEATED and were told this was a miss understanding! The location is great and the neighbors are very LOUD! With some investments..this could be a great house!

Central Location
Posted Feb. 21, 2022 on HomeAwayThe house was great for us as we needed 7 bedrooms and that is hard to find. Very centrally located as we travelled to Miami Beach for a conference everyday. Fairly noisy due to the location, traffic at all hours of the day including air travel.. Having said that, we would book again simply due to the central location.

Bad house condition
Posted Dec. 28, 2021 on HomeAwayWe stayed there with friends in the house for 5 nights. They stated that they have 7 bedrooms but one room was built from a patio and has only a big glass door. Everyone sits in the common area can see the inside of the room. Another room doesn’t have a closet or any rack to hang clothes. These two rooms shouldn’t be defined as bedrooms because they don’t have the bedroom essential elements. We hang towels to the class door to get some privacy and I requested for curtains as soon as we checked in. However, even after 5 days when we left, they still had not sent in any curtains to cover for the glass door. We also requested them to send something for hanging clothes for the bedroom that doesn’t have closet, they didn’t do anything. In fact, their final decision was they cannot provide both items for the rooms. If they cannot provide essentials in the bedrooms, don’t call them bedrooms. There are other problems too. There was a missing curtain in the bunk bed room. The toilet in one of the bedrooms doesn’t flush because water couldn’t come up into the tank. Even though they sent someone to work on it, it still stopped working randomly. There is not enough paper towel in the kitchen and we had to buy our own paper. The house is old and very noisy. If you are not very tired, you probably have a problem sleeping well.

Perfect for a large group
Posted Jul. 9, 2021 on HomeAwayStayed at this property with a group of 16 girls & had the best time. Pictures were accurate-house is adorable. We enjoyed spending time in the hot tub and pool. Close uber to anywhere we went. Couple issues with water temperature in some of the showers, but with 7 showers we shifted around & it wasn't a big deal. Definitely the perfect house for a group of girls-we loved it!
