If You Enjoy Powerful Fragrances . . .
Doesn't matter where you are in this property - other than your room and the garage - they've got powerful fragrances. Lobby is one. Restroom in lobby is a second. Elevator lobby next to the main lobby is a third. Elevators carry their own scent. The lobby of each floor once you exit the elevator must be doused each day with gallons of Fabreeze. It's really all just overpowering. As an asthmatic, this is really disappointing. Don't understand why facilities such as VRBOs and hotels do this. The room itself was nice. Clean. We kept the sliding door open (beautiful view) to keep the breeze moving into the room. Otherwise the Febreeze moved in. We chose this property for a few reasons. Location was the primary - and it worked well! The second was for the little kitchenette. Two burner stove, sink, pots, pans, utensils, and dinnerware. The burners didn't work. There was one 6" plug-in burner with nowhere to put it. No knives. Nothing remotely close to a kitchenette as it was advertised. Lastly the listing indicated there is a washer and dryer. Something we were planning on using. Well they are available. On the 6th floor. If you don't mind paying for it. Again, not what was advertised. The ONLY reason we gave 3 stars is for the view and location. If you can find elsewhere with such a view - take it. Here at the Arya the scents are quite toxic.
