Great stay at Vagabond
Posted Oct. 15, 2024 on HotelsWe evacuated for Hurricane Milton. We were fortunate to have enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were wonderfully clean. Loved the art deco! The staff were as helpful as they could be . The pool area was welcoming and the workout gym more than adequate . Prices were very reasonable! Recommend highly.

The common areas weren't as neat as rooms were, which was a little disappointing.

Hello Maria, thank you for the feedback. It was certainly very difficult to keep our outdoor hallways and pool deck clear of leaves considering we had lots of wind and rain due to the hurricane Milton.

We stayed here while evacuating from hurricane Milton. The staff were very friendly and had great communication. They asked if we needed to extend our stay. We appreciated the daily free water and 24 hour coffee and tea. We had a very quiet and comfortable stay. The place was very clean and tidy. The pool area felt like a little tropical oasis. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back under better circumstances!

Hello John, please keep in mind that we are a historic property and even though the property was fully renovated in 2014, the outside hotel structure needs to look exactly as it did in 1953.
