Both of my rooms they put me in had bed bugs ! Please beware as the rooms are extremely dirty and not cleaned properly. There were bugs crawling all over the sheets. I had to check out immediately and go to a new hotel and wash all my belongings…. Traumatizing experience !!

I chose this property bc it had an airport shuttle. Our flight was very early and they would not provide the shuttle despite that not being the conditions in the promotion for the hotel. The two cab services they gave me cards for upon sending me to my room suggested would be $7 for the ride to the airport - but these two services wanted $30 for the same ride. The uber ended up costing $25. They DID give us an upgrade to a bigger room, but that was after we turned on the heat and smoke poured out of the radiator. Also, the rooms they provided (both on 5th floor) were down the hall from a room that had a large meeting going on and 25 people laughing and making noise - it was 9:30 pm when we checked in. They had told us no one else was staying on the floor when we asked for a quiet room area. We will not be staying here again.

Inadequate showers

I called the hotel approximately three hours prior to arriving as we were getting there after midnight. The clerk advised that their shuttle would be available. After arrival at the airport I called and was told that the driver was sent home for the night. We were kind of stranded, so to speak, until I found a taxi operating at that time of night. This was disappointing. Fast forward to the morning. The shower was but a trickle of water. This is very unacceptable. Being in a rush, this was not brought to management's attention as they should have known the condition of the bathroom. I have been an avid fan of HI Express for many years now. This has placed a funk on my experience and expectations.
