We decided to take a little anniversary trip here for a night.
The property itself was beautiful, we did some
Golfing and walked around a bit. When we tried to check in the systems were down and we were never given a key, and all the other rooms had keys.The sweet girl at the front desk had to let us in our room until they could find our key, and we were told we would have to go back to the front desk to have them let us in everytime. Once in the room there is a slot on the wall that says to put your key in for power, however we had no key. When we called the front desk from our cell phone we had a bad connection and they were not very polite when we asked about the power, I guess any card works but we were never told until we called. I would like to try to give them another chance when all the systems are working, but it was not the greatest first experience.

Rachel, we are working through a few systems issues. I hope they have been corrected. The key system is up and running.we do hope you come back.

Upon arrival systems were down and check in took 45 minutes and was very unprofessional. Finally get to our room which was nice but there was mice poop on our bed. Later in the evening and throughout the night the room began to smell of sewage that was so strong it woke us up. I expected more for spending over $400 for one night.

Justin, unfortunately we did have a systems issue and the staff had to go "manual" which is time consuming and also difficult on them as they can not service our guests the way they know how. I am truly sorry. As for the smell, I have never seen or heard that comment before. Can I get a room number from you if possible?

A 10 out of 10 Thank you !The Resort is really coming together. The pool complex is open and stunning. The landscaping is beautiful.So peaceful.

The property is great and the staff is great. I don’t recommend Simmons as a good eating option but 1886 grill is pretty good.

Homestead Stay was Wonderful.
Posted Aug. 14, 2024 on HotelsLoved our stay at the Homestead. Will definitely stay here again. The newly renovated rooms are gorgeous and very clean The swimming pool and pool area is beautiful. Also enjoyed golfing. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
