Comfortable, clean, nice location. Watched bald eagles fishing in the creek, Hope to return again.

Lovely house across from Penns Creek.
Publié le 8 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe owner has done a very nice job of renovating this home and making it a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. The photos on the VRBO site accurately depict the property, except that the house is not ON the creek. The road, which has very light traffic, is between the front porch and the creek. You can easily see the creek from the front porch and the house. Also, the firepit by the creek is a little ways down the road, but was absolutely wonderful! (The VRBO description does say that the creek access is 100 ft down the road.) There are 4 chairs provided, with 2 of them are slightly broken, but still usable. The combination of outdoor fire and gurgling creek was just wonderful. We would definitely rent this home again. After checking out on Sunday, we enjoyed a delicious brunch at Rusty Rail in Mifflinburg.
