A Cabin with Style
Posted Jun. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayIf you are looking for a place in the Delaware River valley for a quiet, relaxing time, or as base for fishing, rafting, hiking, or exploring the historic towns along the river, this cabin is ideal. It is a cabin, yes, but a cabin with style and comfort. The cabin is well-equipped and nicely decorated in a style I would call "rustic chic," including a canoe-shaped bookcase. The kitchen and bathroom have been attractively updated. Finally, there is the great view of the Delaware River from the cabin's deck, a perfect place to sit with a cup of coffee or tea. We enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this property.

Peaceful cabin by the river
Posted Jun. 22, 2024 on HomeAwayIf you’re looking for a peaceful riverfront stay, this cabin is incredible. The cabin itself is modern and comfortable, well stocked with everything you could need for cooking, activities, and comfort. The lawn is large and well kept, the dog loved running around, and we made use of the fire pit. A staircase leads down to the riverfront where you have your own private shoreline/river access. We spent the day fishing, swimming, and tubing. (Water shoes are a must). Hosts were friendly and readily available, checking in/out was made very easy. We highly recommend, definitely planning on another stay soon.

Weekend Getaway
Posted Mar. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayGreat place for a relaxing getaway. The house was clean and beds are very comfortable. The linens provided were so soft! The house owner was so reponsive and very friendly. We had a great time at the house and area restaurants. We will definitely be back! Thank you for everything!

Great, isolated getawar
Posted Dec. 29, 2023 on HomeAwayAwesome property. The Delaware River is only about 100yds from the house. House was clean upon arrival, comfy beds, great kitchen. Fireplace was the big draw in December. The owners left wood for us to use. Very close to scenic points in the area. Checkout the BVH in Barryville too for great food and drinks. We would definitely go back!

Charm and solitude

Wonderful Stay

The home is very clean and orderly and has just about anything you can think of to make your stay enjoyable. Being able to bring our dog for the stay was a major plus. Great hosts to work with.

Beautiful stay on the river
Posted Oct. 23, 2023 on HomeAwayMy friend and I have stayed in many places over the years, and this was the most comfortable of them all. Clean, fully functional kitchen, cozy seating inside and out. The host even put fresh flowers in a vase for us! We highly recommend!!
