Wonderful and Relaxing
Publié le 28 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful 3 night stay at The Shack. The location, just 3kms to Millthorpe, was ideal. Locating and accessing the property was easy. It is very private and quiet, with lots of outdoor space to roam. We had fun playing soccer and wandering through the grove of trees. We made use of the fully equipped kitchen and the BBQ outside and enjoyed both indoor and outdoor fires. Would highly recommend a stay at The Shack for a quiet relaxing break.

Great spot
Publié le 26 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayEverything excellent apart from lack of firewood and it was below freezing in the evenings. Next time we will take our own with us. We paid for wood and there was only enough for an hour or so.

Place was awesome. We loved our stay at Millthorpe. It was relaxing and quiet. The fireplace was a real treat. We didn’t have the fireplace on in the day but there wasn’t quite enough firewood, that was the only thing.

Wonderful stay among the truffle groves
Publié le 30 mai 2022 sur HomeAwayMy partner and I had the most relaxing weekend stay in millthrope truffles. A gem of a cabin, isolated enough yet close enough to millthorpe and orange. A quite, clean cabin with comfortable couch and bed (very soft). We didn’t cook but the kitchen seems like it had all of the utensils. The indoor fireplace was a treat on the cold nights, warms the whole place up. They provided firewood and starters.
We enjoyed our stay so much we wish we stayed for longer, although we will certainly be back to this gorgeous gem!

We had a great time. Were able to relax in quiet. Found the town of Millthorpe rich in history and the people friendly.
Only issue we had was having to email for details of entry on the way to Millthorpe as we did not receive details via email. But once instructions come through they were clear and precise.

Amazing place highly recommend
Publié le 4 oct. 2019 sur HomeAwayWe loved staying at Millthorpe Truffles. It was immaculately clean and had beauty scenery. Sitting in front of the fire was very relaxing. Listening to all the birds during the day was so nice, felt like a home away from home. Hidden gem which we have already told our friends about.
