Family wedding
Posted Oct. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayOur niece's wedding was at Carlos Creek Winery. This was a perfect place to stay for the weekend. It was very spacious, very clean and lots of amenities. We had a bonfire Saturday night. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Home with Many Amenities
Posted Sep. 4, 2024 on HomeAwayWe were so lucky to find this place! We were in town for a family wedding, so unfortunately had no time to enjoy the lake. But it's the perfect family home. It is spacious, comfortable, with lovely furnishings, including comfy beds and soft towels. There are many thoughtful amenities throughout -- staples in the pantry, Kuerig cups, condiment packets, toiletries people tend to forget. Plus, it's in a beautiful peaceful neighborhood. We hope to be back for a longer stay! Our sincere thanks to the hosts.

Went with the plan of getting my 7 yr old to enjoy fishing.
Plan succeeded! The home was great! Modern kitchen, homeowner was super friendly & inviting.

Great place to stay!
Posted Aug. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayOur stay at this property was great! The house was clean and fully furnished (kitchen had every utensil we needed and more!). The house had plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. which was great. The hosts were very easy to work with and let us check in early. Overall, great experience!

Very Nice Home
Posted Jul. 25, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a great time spent with family. The house was very close to the lake. We did drive to the public access spot because that seemed like a better option than the lake access point closer to the house (short walk but very weedy). We didn’t mind packing our stuff up and driving tho. We enjoyed time spent swimming and hanging out at the house! Would definitely stay here again!!

A nice getaway
Posted Jun. 24, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had cloudy weather all week. Went into Alec, took in the Runestone Museum, shopped, walked, and had some ice cream. We played outdoor games, indoor games, and had a great visit. Thank you!

Fishing trip
Posted May 21, 2024 on HomeAwayWe love the location, garage setup,and fish cleaning area in garage. Multiple visits over the years. Disappointing cooking equipment. Frying pan should be thrown away. non stick pan from Walmart would be a huge improvement. Lights on property all seem so dim for today's led availability. Downstairs shower hasn't worked for the last 2 years. Instructions for tv and only streaming availability for us older people was a bummer. Had 2 go 2 bar 2 watch game 7 of Timberwolves. Newly installed oven was not functioning. Mosquitoes were awful. for 3 nights maybe property could be fogged? Deck had dead leaves on it,where could that come from in may?

These items will be investigated and corrected.
The mention of mosquitoes- are not mosquitoes. These are the notorious infestation of the may flies, or also called dragonfly nymphs. They, unfortunately, are everywhere near the lakes during this time of year. We would not want to fog for these- it would be futile as they are seasonal and everywhere.
The area is fogged for mosquitoes during that season, along with eliminating any areas of standing water around the house.
The patio is swept off hours before our guests arrive. There was a lot of debris that blew in on Monday due to a storm that went through.
Plumber is being called for the downstairs shower
The oven was a miscommunication between us and installer- now has been resolved.
I get it with the TV.
We will resolve with subscription to cable.
