Not Worth the stay
I booked this upper part of the unit and thought that that’s what I was getting until we got there & we were placed in a unit that we weren’t even supposed to be in that & the host didn’t even let me know that the unit i booked was booked for a month until i got there & had to other way to get a new bnb. the place was dirty fridge & other places still had stuff in it from previous guest the closet in the main room was broken fans & air conditioning were dusty & some not working the air conditioner in the main room was leaking all over the floor there were very limited cleaning supplies the blinds and curtains were messed up overall the whole downstairs unit was bad I could imagine how the upstairs looks. Please make sure your placed in the right unit .

HORRIBLE!!
We never even got out of our car nor step foot into this VRBO. VERY UNSAFE neighborhood!!! Bullet holes in neighbor's windows, air conditioners on ground in bush and window still open from vacant air conditioner, abandoned cars on the side of the road with flat tires....this was an absolute nightmare!! I would only recommend this place if you plan to lose what you paid to want to stay there as you will not feel safe even getting out of your car. Not to mention, you had to reach out to get any details (how to check in, how do you access the property, etc) from the person you need to contact as they never reach out to you prior to your day(s) of stay. NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY!!!!

The worst place ever!
We pulled in to the neighborhood hood and was looked at like we were lost . We go in the side door where a strong odor of weed was in the hall way . We first walked in the apartment and the smell was worse. The first bedroom had a puddle of water in the middle of the floor . The bathroom and kitchen were discusting. The walls were stained and dirty . Do not book this property we contacted the owner and Vrbo and complained we are not the first read the reviews. Live and learn he refused to give a refund because we chose to not stay . After leaving and paying for a hotel we were told by locals neiborhood is not safe ! Stay away from this property. Pictures have been sent to Vrbo .

Funeral
The place was clean but old. Not enough dishes, toilet paper, no paper towels. There was wash cloths and towels but they were put up very high we didn’t find them until it was time to leave but over all it was a great place to lay our heads and we thank the owner My recommendation is to paint and update unit to look bright and sleek and to get a toilet for tall people. My mom had a hard time sitting on the low toilet so did I. Overall it served it’s purpose

Quick trip for a baseball game
We were on our way home from our vacation and took a side trip to Milwaukee to catch a baseball game. We were needing to do laundry and choose this place because it had a washer and dryer. The washer and dryer were in an unfinished basement and we could not figure out how to turn the lights on. We ended up having to go find a laundry mat. The neighborhood did not feel family friendly, and the flat beneath us played loud music from 12:30-4am with louding talking and groups of people outside. Will not book this property again.

Don’t book!
Pulled up and immediately the mail lady looked at us and said “you don’t belong here”. When parking on the street we found 9mm shell casings on the road. Pictures are about halfway accurate but has a smell to the house. Was only there 5 minutes before I found a hotel and stayed there for the weekend. Wish I could get my money back and keep this guy from scamming anybody else!

Good quick stay
We only stayed one night but Cornelius was super helpful when we got lost, I liked that there were three keys/locks it felt safe. My only complaint is that the shared parking in the rear whoever else was staying in the other unit parked dead center making it hard for me to park but that's not the property managers fault. The place smelled great and had the AC and fans blowing so it was nice and cool in the unit!

We had 3 kiddos under 5 and didn't even end up staying the night due to the status of the neighborhood. Trying to work with VRBO on a partial refund at the moment. Host seemed to communicate well, but not happy with this location.

We would not choose this property again
I am hesitant to give a negative review, but I feel that the listing does not accurately reflect the property (at least for our stay). Let me start with the positive. The owner was extremely responsive, instructions for getting into the property were accurate and we were able to get in with no problem. The wood floors were refinished and they did a nice job, the living room furniture was nice and the decorations pulled the place together. What did not meet our expectations was the cleanliness and upkeep of the property. I was hoping that I could attach pictures so that my review was fact-based and not subject to my opinion alone. There were alot of dead bugs in many of the window sills, the bedside table in one of the bedrooms was falling apart, the floor vents were extremely dirty, the bathroom walls and ceiling were cracked and peeling, and there were cigarette stains/burns on the bathroom sink, many of the lights were bare bulbs (missing a fixture), the kitchen curtains were ripped and frayed, both the shower and kitchen faucets were not fully attached to their piping, the chain lock on the door was broken, neither the refrigerator nor microwave worked, the curtain rods in multiple rooms were bent and broken, the casing on the window air conditioner was broken, caulking and plaster around the bathtub were peeling off, multiple walls with holes, and the floors were filthy behind the doors. We considered leaving and asking for a refund, but we arrived late (10:30 pm) and did not know if we would be able to find another place to accommodate our group and once we stayed for the first night it didn't seem "fair" to the owner to complain and ask for a refund. We made the best of it. Our lesson is that if the price is too good to be true and there are only a few reviews that it is probably not the place for us.

This duplex was the perfect size and very well organized!!! It was clean and smelled wonderful!!!
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wether it be just a chill trip, business meeting, getaway or event!!! It’s very spacious and welcoming and the property owner is awesome!!! You might even have a little surprise waiting for you from the owner!!!

A place to crash for a short stay
The place was clean with all new stuff. It lacks extra kitchen appliances if you plan to do some cooking. We did not realize this was an apartment/ duplex with a top and bottom rental. Both nights the renters above up we loud through fighting and music until we notified the management which was very late at night. The response was good and the noise stopped immediately. The building is old with hard wood floors and thin walls so the movement above was still easy to hear. The location is in a good area to get to stores and other places easily. The apartment it’s self is a pain to get in and out of requiring 3 doors to lock/unlock. At the same time it’s a bit more secure with all the locks and doors.
