Fantastic lodge for nature lovers
Publié le 11 juill. 2019 sur HotelsBellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited.
The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that covers the guided hikes and pick up and drop off at the airport. The road to get to the Reserve is a bit rugged and not suitable for a regular compact or low to the ground car.
We would go back there in a heartbeat. Depending on your level of interest in birds, hiking, and wildlife, I would recommend at least 3 days there. We only had one night and wished for more.

Publié le 2 mars 2018 sur HotelsBeautiful setting. Lots of nature. We did quite a few of the hikes and loved all of them. The guides knew their stuff and we learned a lot! The food was delicious and the service top notch. The owner was very hands on and very helpful. Would highly recommend this place for nature lovers that want to get away!

Yes, there are more than hummingbirds - toucans, wrens, etc, etc, but my heart is completely lost the the little cantankerous buzzing birds. Food excellent too.

Gute Verpflegung, landestypisches Essen nach europäischem Geschmack.
Sehr freundliches Personal.
Emplacement : Mitten im Nebelwald, keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Natur pur!
