Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Comfortable room in a wonderful setting.
A good variety of daily meals offered suitable for differing tastes and dietary requirements.
We had a lovely stay.

There were obviously problems caused by the pandemic but the hotel handled the situation efficiently.
Parking is a significant problem for the hotel and although we managed to un-load and load the car at the start and end of our stay, we had to ignore a 'no-parking' sign to do this. At other times we had to park and pay in the village car park, about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Not ideal!
The hotel is well situated in Dunster, which is a pretty village, away from the busy A39, surrounded by wooded countryside and overlooked by an attractive castle and grounds..

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room
Publié le 30 août 2020 sur HotelsVery spacious room, bed very comfortable. Very clean. Staff were really nice, friendly and went the extra mile. Only the food at the hotel was a bit of a trip back to the 70s b&bs but since staff and location was good we do not want to dwell on it.

A lovely place to stay. Lots to see in the village.

The hotel is located in an old building in a 17 century village. Consequently, it is not “up to day” but it it well appointed, serves excellent food, and has a very helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable and we had an enjoyable stay.
