Perfect Escape
Publié le 23 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cabin is very close to McCaysville and not a bad drive to blue ridge. Cabin is extremely clean and modern. Large window in main area that looks out onto river. All the conveniences of home in the kitchen. Wood burning stove was great during 25 nights.

Wonderful getaway cabin for two with Toccoa river access
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cabin was the cleanest and most perfect cabin for just my husband and I that we have ever stayed at. Overall, everything was perfect from beginning to end. The only improvement I could ask for would be a new mattress.

To our future guests - Our mattress was actually replaced in 2022 and is a a pillowtop, Gatsby mattress. Mattresses are always difficult for us, as hosts. All of our guests have personal preferences, and its hard to match one mattress to every guest . We've tried to make sure we provide a premium mattress with some firmness, yet softness to it. We love this mattress, but completely understand that it may not be for everyone.

Not on the river.
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayI found the cabin itself to be as described and the owner to be very nice. I did not find the location to be accurate being described as “on the river”. The cabin is actually across the street and about 180 yards from the river. You do have access to the river, but the cabin is not on the river. River view with access would be more appropriate. The photos don’t show how far the cabin is actually away and across the street from the river. If your looking for a cabin on the water like I was, this is not it.

We are so sorry that you were unhappy with the location of the cabin on our river front property.
To clarify for our future guests - Please read the full description of our property! It has 150' of riverfront to it, (with a private dock), and then it runs up the hillside, out of the flood plain. Every property on this stretch of the Toccoa River has an 8' gravel easement running through it, so everyone can easily access their property. Some people have cabins on the upper side of the road, some on the lower side, some on both sides. Our cabin sits above this easement, very privately tucked into the woods. We think that's the best of both worlds, because you can't see any neighbors, but the river is right there for your enjoyment. (Picture 23 shows the view from the cabin. Approximately 350 feet from the river.)

Perfect romantic getaway

There is a reason it was voted one of the ten most romantic cabins in GA. The surroundings are peaceful, private, and off the beaten path. The cabin is clean, well appointed and cozy. We had the best time. If you like to be out and about, there is a lot to do in the surrounding areas. The cabin is also a perfect place to just relax and hang out if that's more your speed. The BEST VBRO!
