George and family were in town for a wedding and used the house for family gatherings before the big day.
We will welcome his family again with another St. Paul visit.

Great house and location

The kitchen was well stocked with everything that you might need for cooking and adding flavor to your meals. We will be back as some point in the future.

Kay's family gathered to celebrate a graduation.They were thoughtful with their party, keeping our close neighbors unaware of the gathering! We look forward to hosting Kay again in the future.

The owners were quick to respond to any questions and provided help when needed. Basement laundry was clean and easy to use. Kitchen was easy for us to use and to cook a few large meals in.

Great location, super clean house
Publié le 21 mai 2021 sur HomeAwayThe description of this home is very accurate. It's a lovingly maintained older home in a quiet, pretty St Paul neighborhood. The house was sparkling clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. It worked well for my family and me as a home base during Macalester graduation weekend!
A couple things to note: This is an older home with vintage furnishings. A couple of the beds were not comfy (one was super hard, another very springy). The host takes great pride in the home and asks that you take care with the furnishings. This is a coasters-on-every-surface house. This wasn't a big deal for us, but might be for some people. The host is very attentive and checked in with us during our stay. She lives next door. This rental reminded me a bit of a B&B with the level of contact we had. Again, not a big deal but not everyone's cup of tea. Overall, it's a nice older home and worked well for our purposes.

Fantastic St. Paul House

The house was wonderfully clean (we were there during COVID) and in the beautiful Tanglewood neighborhood, near Macalester, as well as smoothies and pastries (even delicious gluten-free ones) on Grand. We brought most of our own food and it was easy to cook in the kitchen and play a game in the dining room. The power went out the first night we were there (thunderstorm), and the owner was quick to respond with flashlights, even though it didn't take too long to get the power back. A great place to be in the Twin Cities.
