Publié le 29 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayPros: the unit is clean and has basic necessities such as dishes, soap, towels. Beds were comfortable TV was able to use our log ins for different apps so we could watch what we wanted. Location was very good. View of the lake was nice.
Cons: the owners live upstairs and there is little to no soundproofing. Could hear their conversations and their child running around and banging toys constantly. One towel for each person for a 6 night stay. No separate thermostat so we had windows open when it was 20 degrees outside because it was very hot and stuffy. Smoke alarm needed new battery and continued to beep. No window covering on the front door so whoever can see straight in to your living space.
Overall, if you just need a place to sleep, it was fine. But if you need a quiet place to give your kids a rest and nap or downtime for yourself. This is not it.

It's near our daughter. Has everything we need. The host replies quickly when we ask a question.

Hosts were very communicative! Could hear a lot of what was going on upstairs, but it didn't really affect my stay.

Cute little place, wifi didn’t work and lots of noise from upstairs.
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWiFi didn’t work for us even after rebooting the router. So that was a pain as we wanted to stream football games. Noise from upstairs was accurate to the listing so can’t really complain but bad if trying to sleep in. We would’ve done laundry detergent but it was empty, we also would have loved to have a fire as advertised but no wood to be found.
Overall it was a quaint place and did the trick for our 2 couples in town for a wedding.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback! I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the WiFi. There was an internet issue in the area that day, but it has since been resolved. I'm also sorry if there was any confusion regarding the laundry detergent; guests must bring their own, as noted in our listing. Regarding the firewood, we also don’t provide wood but do offer a fireplace for guests to use with their own supplies.
