Needs lots of remodeling, upkeep, and cleaning

Apparently this hotel will not reserve the room type you choose when reserved from a 3rd party (even pre-paid months in advance) and you get "what is available". For example, if you reserved a single king room, you may not get it.

I really wish i could give a negative star review. we were attending a Beyond the Yellow Ribbon event at the hotel, which is why we booked a room here. Specially we booked a king bed through expedia, but when we arrived, all the hotel had were double beds. The staff said because we booked through a third party, they couldnt guarantee the room we paid for. The staff took no accountability, saying it was expedias policy (not the hotels policy). The staffs attitude and lack of customer service was atrocious. In the 20 years we have booked hotel rooms, we have never heard such nonsense nor ever have that happen. The rooms were small, sheets were dirty, the bathrooms were terriblly small (sink /counter was right behind the toilet), scratchy towels, stains on the walls. staff also expect you to put the bag in the trash cans too. beds are great if youre a 4-year old bouncing on them, but they are uncomfortable to sleep in. The worst nights sleep i've had in years. We will never stay here again.
